yesterday, the padres and dodgers played one of the most ridiculous games of the whole season... jesus christ that was a roller coaster and i couldn't think straight after...
from the early 4-0 lead to escaping unscathed with bases loaded and no outs (thanks to the claw) to the 4 run lead to the 4 homerun back to back to back to back jacks to the walkoff homerun by mr. ADD
overall... that was a hell of a game... woulda been nice to come out on top of that one... woulda been nice to get hoffman that 476th... woulda been nice to be 1.5 games ahead in first...
...but that's what october baseball is all about! still in it with a good handful of games left -- now i gotta be a damn pirate and dback fan (when they play the dodgers, of course)...
still.. 5-13 record ain't bad at all...

first in the west... it could go either way there... they just gotta get consistent

and i'm also proud of my baby... very proud actually... i updated this thing
all week -- a lot of hard work. all the code and backgrounds were me -- and only
me... i had some help from andy. it was a really cool learning
process too... i figured out how to make text go bigger and smaller based on
the [view > text size > larger, largest], which makes it accessible to those
who can't see well... AND, if you do a print preview... it'll print perfectly
in 12 pt font

last labor day, i went with christine to watch the padres play downtown... in the GOOD seats (thanks andy)
it had to be one of the best, if not, the best, game i've been to -- incredible seats, awesome company (awww.. hehe), and a walkoff homerun win -- thanks to josh barfield

a few weeks ago, my sister went to a padres game -- turns out she went on a good day.. two guys ran on the field -- check it out... the crowd reaction is the best part
