so it's a shitty san diego sports year... padres, who HAD an awesome bullpen the year before, had an absolutely terrible season this year... now the chargers, with one of the best passing defenses, are playing like shit (editor's note: i had a really horrible comment about the padres/chargers playing like sarah palin's retarded son... but i decided not to keep it... or did i?)
will the chargers make the playoffs this year? i dunno... the broncos would REALLY need to choke for that to happen... cutler's a bitch
what's the deal here?... i am royally fucked in my two yahoo! fantasy sports leagues... but in espn fantasy... i'm rockin (probably because no one really cares about espn leagues and i'm totally taking advantage of that) -- n/m... i just answered my own question

so i bought rockband 2 from circuit city over the weekend (don't get me started with deepdiscount) and then as i got home, i got a coupon in the mail from them for $20 off $150 -- awesome deal... i check online and the coupon works for the game. gameplan was to go to the store and have them credit me $20 back to my card
i couldn't stop thinking about that old commercial they had -- with the kid who walked across town to a CC, says to the guy, "last week i bought this, and today i saw this... just opened up the paper and there it was!"
and without flinching, the CC employee gives him some change and the kid says, "that's it? cool!"
well.. i actually had a competent employee help me and i got my $20 back -- i didn't have to grovel... didn't have to buy it online and then return it with my old receipt... i love when things work out

so another thing i'm reaaaallly behind on is "it's always sunny in philadelphia" -- you can watch it on hulu! i just got seasons 1 and 2 from netflix (season 4 on hulu)... the topics of each episode are pretty funny -- things like the glory hole and who pooped the bed...
i think hulu has a huge influence in me giving this show a chance...
call me a sucker, but i'm gonna try to get season tix again next year -- hey, it gives me something to do during spring - summer (better than joining a gang, i guess)... this is good news too
rockband 2 is out -- but thanks to the folks at deepdiscount, i probably won't get it delivered for 1-2 weeks.... check out the drum trainer image [ awesomeness ] -- yes, freestyle mode... that is soooo sick..

today was a good day -- photoshopped some friend's faces onto david hasselhoff's body, revamped my work site, and even had enough time to fix a fucked up ie6 error with it...
so i hear that my site's blocked by websense at work b/c of the language on my site AND i could possibly get it unblocked if i clean up the language a bit
....

thursday night live was pretty damn funny -- the presidential debate skit was awesome. i'm not really a fan of fred armisen's obama voice (he has the look down), but darrell hammond's mccain is pretty damn good

so i had this idea, but mark pretty much shot it down... you know how sports teams will put their logo on anything and practically any fan will buy that shit? how about a toaster that toasts the team logo onto the bread? i know i'd love me some charger bread... eh?
but i think it's already been done... well not for sports teams at least -- and if it was, it wasn't officially sanctioned by the leagues
that's a goldmine right there...
and i think i'm the last person to join this bandwagon (no, tim... not the dodgers bandwagon), but hulu is pretty damn slick -- it's kinda like going to each of the station's web sites and streaming it there, but it's all in one site. BIG PLUS: it has three sheets on it -- boom.
