hope everyone had a great thanksgiving... i'm sure everyone was tucked in and warm in their beds -- me? no... i was in front of the car audio garage at best buy on thursday night, starting at 10pm
me, geoff, greg, and his buddy arnold camped out like the rest of 'em... i've never done anything like this so i figured, what the hell... the original plan was to head down at around 3:30 but some quick scouting found ~100 people already in line at around 9:00pm -- what the hell? do these people have families?
so we grabbed our chairs and sat it out... in retrospect, it really wasn't that long... and it was all worth it cuz i got all that i came for! (click the link to see the actual price)

...and yes... i will be getting paid back by the aforementioned names!
it wasn't like this, most likely cuz there was a huge police presence!! [youtube], but greg did point out an old asian dude who was cutting in line...
so i got home at maybe 7 and then went to sleep (finally) -- got up and went to circuit city to get a jensen digital clock radio for ipod for $39.99 and then to radio shack for this ipod alarm clock for $29.99, which turned out to be a return cuz once docked, it kept the backlight ON the whole time... BAD!
overall... i got lucky with my first black friday campout... pretty sick
go chargers -- 9-2 (barely)... i gotta admit, that was NOT a forward pass... that was a dumbass move...

friggin' hughes got robbed by st. pierre over the weekend -- he got kicked in the nuts not once... but twice... FUCKIN' FRENCH CANADIENS! that totally messed up the match for him and ended up losing his title to the celine dion-talking st. pierre...

short work week! thanksgiving + BLACK FRIDAY -- i don't care, eric... it's just awesome... hahha
it's friggin' november... but it was too hot today... i don't like that -- i like cold weather (yes, and i live in san diego... wtf?) hope things are going well in the east coast, sarmo
chargers pulled off a great win -- in front of a nationwide prime-time audience too... and they play the raiders next -- so there should be another easy win. then #56 comes back...
few things to speak about -- just cuz i haven't done this in so long -- been out sick (huge-ass headache that sidelined me for 2 days... i should be good for tomorrow tho)
brodie played it's first "gig" in about a year... wasn't a paying gig or anything..
it was more a spiritual kinda gig -- huh? we played for a banquet type thing
for project walk -- an organization aimed at helping folks with spinal cord injuries
get back on their feet
we really were just background music -- no one really cared that we were there,
but it was still fun...
lost is away 'til feb 07... what the hell!? and 24 doesn't start up til january... pfft
btw... i'm working on updating the brodie site -- much needed if you ask me. so far, it's lookin' pretty sick...
guitar hero 2, in my opinion, is not as good as guitar hero 1 -- the song choice is so much better in part one... dammit
