according to websense, sarmad's site is bad becacuse it falls under the "mp3 and audio download services" (amazing that websense picked up on that) -- it's always a special day when i get honorable mention on sarmad's site... haha

what a shitty month for updates (i'm sure you're all upset about that)
so i got the samsung (astro)glyde and so far... it's pretty slick. it's fairly new -- verizon's answer to the i-pa-hone [ link ]... so i've been on a quest to make my own ringtones and wallpapers for it and so far, i've got a good collection brewin' (ex: text message comes in, mario's 1-up sound plays -- nice).
i would hate to work at verizon -- so many angry people whenever i get there. some fat lady was right next to me, complaining that her husband from spain keeps calling her and talking shit and she wanted to block all international calls. "no can do," says the verizon employee
all i could think was, "who in the hell would be obsessed over this cow?"
so they eventually get her to change her phone number which was the best solution really.
oh yea... and their customer service isn't really that good -- they did a good job with their queue system, but dang... if they don't want to help you out, they're gonna show it
btw... lakers got away with it...
if it was anyone other than barry that fisher landed on, easy foul... but no respeck for the white man. if he was smart, he'd do that popular move where he'd jump up while fisher was landing and emphasize the contact -- but no. i like what jim rome said about it tho -- spurs fans need to stop whining because the refs didn't help them blow a 20 point lead in game 1, and didn't help the lakers get more offensive boards and second chance points in game 4... the lakers are just better than them

so me and geoff are gonna be taking some continuing ed courses for asp.net. best part about it -- it costs $free.99... gonna do the beginner, intermediate, advanced courses... never done anything like this before since college so i dunno what to expect. i think it's just a lecture-type thing with no tests or anything...
