44,457 fans made it to the game on saturday -- prolly more bosox fans than padres... a few yankees fans (wtf?)... it was a ton of fun (for the padres fans) -- christine hated it -- prolly cuz i would make fun of coco crisp's batting stance every time he went up to bat
i've never seen two plays get reversed in a regular season game, but as matty vasgersian noted (many times), it felt like october baseball...
anyway.. there's this lame ass mascot roaming petco: the frankenfriar
inflated and random
it apparently does this skit with a representative of the other team (in this case, an obnoxious sox fan holding a sign that read "padres stink!") -- it then continues to knock him out with a headbutt... and the fan flails about as if having a seizure... teh SUCK!

oh we're live?!
had a blast for my birthday -- went to see my good buddy, john mayer, at the hollywood bowl with christine... awesome set -- his mini-logues between each song are still spot on... i'll never be able to play as good as that. the h-bowl was nuts -- crazy traffic to get there and then crazy stacked parking.
oh yea.. ben folds was there too... damn.. he loves jamming HARD on the ivory... sounds sooo good... the only song i knew was that abortion song (brick)....
also totally took advantage of bj's free-pizookie-on-your-birthday special... went two separate days... aww yea...
i'm gettin' annoyed by these talent shows on tv these days... who said that these shows have 3 judges: 1 pissy british dood.... 1 so so male judge who is the voice of the people, and the 1 overly-positive female judge... c'mon! to name a few: american idol, so you think you can dance, america's got talent, dancing with the stars, american inventor, last comic standing
why is the hoff and sharon osbourne judging a talent show?
just because george foreman invents a slanted grill -- he can spot good inventors?
i actually saw last comic standing today -- that's pretty good... funny stuff.
what a game! this is why you stay for the whole game (ahem dodger fans)... an unlikely win for the good guys -- it really shouldn't have happened... it wouldn't have happened if saito was in, nomar is normally solid at first (2 gaffes -- trying to start the double play and then trying to outrun p-mac to first base)

my fantasy team keeps packin' on the wins -- been a great 2 weeks for me.
been sick as a tiger these past few days -- never been sick off work for 3 consecutive days... but i really wasn't 100%. friggin' ear infection totally plugged up my right ear. i hate it -- it's still plugged up... but i'm gonna go to work tomorrow, even tho the plugged ear makes me all disoriental and everything
i think the coolest thing i did was sell my padres tix ONE HOUR before gametime... get this... AT FACE VALUE. gotta love craig's list for that...

been busy doing a cool photo slideshow project for my parents' anniversary -- did some sick audio work on 5ish songs...
padres keep winning on the road... germano is sick as hell... going to the game on tuesday v. the dodgers... "beat l-a... beat l-a" (now we'll be saying it against the right team. i have a good feeling about tuesday's game -- the dodgers are gonna be in pittsburgh tomorrow, then a flight back to san diego that night
the blue ball boys will be mighty tired. i'm hoping the pirates put up a fight -- perhaps an extra innings affair? maybe? just a bit?
btw... thanks to sarmad's crazy sd weekend, i'm still undefeated (7-0) at the park of petco
