so i was bored at work and i was trying the program that sarmad found -- miro [blogspam]... it was pretty much the same thing as itunes, but it has youtube and hd videos -- the only thing is that youtube and all streaming media is blocked at my work.
so i saw this podcast -- happy tree friends [link]. hilarious animation!! each episode is like 2-5 minutes and features cute little animals that normally die in a bloody, gorey mess.

so yea... 11 wins in a row... no losses... i TRY to jinx it, but it's just too strong. i coulda sworn that we were gonna lose to the mets (esp with davey wells pitching)... but pitching hung tough (even scott "my fingers are crossed" linebrink pitched 1-2-3).
happy birthday to christine! first she had something in common with jim carrey (the number 23) and now she has something in common with jack bauer (24)...

lovin' the padres... totally showed exactly what kind of team they are with this game -- two all-star pitchers battle to the death (not really) with the end result being a 1-0 win for the good guys.
there's no place like home for chris young... i would be a great sports column writer... before tonight's game... he had an era of 0.82... wait... you didn't read that right... 0.82! [yahoo!sports] today's game is gonna knock that down even more... you just know that c-y is gonna get the W when the takes the mound at petco
i wish i was cool enough to calculate his era at home after this game, but a) i'm lazy and b) it's not updated anywhere yet...
i'm still sick of linebrink... don't get me wrong.. i think he's like the red-headed bastard step child of the bullpen... he's a friggin SETUP MAN for christ's sake and what has he done in the games he pitches? he throws big piles of dung [proof (*note -- BS not only means 'blown save,' it also means 'bull shit')]
i'm done.

been liking these reality shows:
- hell's kitchen - chef ramsay is the meanest fuck... how can these people not complete one night's dinner service? so lame... i hate how the guests get all pissy when they don't get their dinner fast enough
- world series of pop culture - awesome show... love the format of the show right down the straight-laced host. really fun to try to play along
- last comic standing - still funny... they just picked all the comics for the main event...
- flight of the conchords - it was alright... mellow guitar music with funny lyrics
- rob & big - how can you NOT like this show... HILARIOUS (you can watch them online)

it's unheard of... whenever i'm at petco, the padres have won. yes, mr. towers, don't thank peavy, don't thank c-y... thank me, joey hernandez for 10 wins (so far)...
10-0... not even yesterday... when the padres couldn't muster up any kind of offense... but they pulled through in the bottom of the ninth, frying the fish.
