so i was at pat & oscar's today, in line, waiting for my food and there's a tv there playing a movie (it should be noted that this is a side part of p&o's for take-out only)
so the movie playing was remember the titans... and i was thinking... damn... denzel should be an nfl coach -- but only during the second half
well it was showing the last quarter where the team finally united as one and won the game... meanwhile, i was sittin' there with a breadstick and my fist pumping in the air, yellin', "yeah!! whooo! rosa parks!"

An elementary teacher starts a new job at a school in St. Paul, Minnesota and trying to make a good impression on her first day explains to her class that she's a Viking fan.
She asks the class to raise their hands if they too are Viking fans.
Everyone in the class raises their hand except one little girl.
The teacher looks at the girl with surprise
and says, "Mary, why didn't you raise your hand?"

saw the macworld keynote... all 2 hours of it -- i'm not a mac person myself.. and i'd be a complete and utter poser if i said i was now. but, wow... jobs knows how to introduce products. appletv and the iphone...
appletv: i guess this is cool if a) you have a widescreen hi-def
tv and b) you buy a bunch of movies or tv shows through iTunes...
iPhone: i bet the name will change by the time it hits the stores
