- running - this should be obvious... if you know me... you understand. last time i went to go paintballing, i felt like christopher reeves the whole week...

- work on the gorirra biz... i want to start with a restaurant... i look at
all these site for restaurants around sd and they're just pathetic... pdf's
for menus?!
- this means i gotta up my game -- graphics are tough so i need to practice... that's one of the things that would prevent me from getting a job
- i need to work on my portfolio... and just make random templates to show off...
- chargers or padres championship -- chargers are on their way... padres are dead in the offseason... c'mon black! do something... you missed out on zito... but at least you got the giles bros. together again... pfft...

for the first time, i bought stuff from the iTunes store... thanks to c.Lo's gift card... got seasons 2 and 3 of the ricky gervais podcast and some games... i've always wanted to get games for my iPod, but never really got around to it -- tetris, texas hold'em, and sudoku -- graphics aren't bad at all... kinda like a really nice flash game
now i'm thinkin' of getting a nintendo ds lite... i hear good things about that brainage game
some new tv game shows that are pretty interesting -- 1 vs 100 and identity -- both much better than deal or no deal... i hate deal or no deal -- there's no skill necessary really... pick a number and hope it's low...
identity, however, you gotta use some skills of deduction to figure out what people are... 1 vs 100 has fairly simple trivia but it's pretty cool and the stage setup is pretty cool -- and it's hosted by danny tanner...

had a great weekend -- celebrated my sister's birthday party on saturday at the W downtown, saw the chargers take the west and LT make history, and went to my company's holiday party

the holiday party, specifically, was great -- a hornblower cruise out in the bay... pretty good food and the parade of lights (decorated boats float by) -- gallery coming soon...

i dunno if you were keeping up with the whole james kim story... mainstream media didn't really cover it until the wife and kids were found -- but it was all over digg... the reason: he's a tech geek like all of us and they were all trying to show their support in finding him safe
unfortunately, the story didn't turn out like a hollywood movie -- he was found dead yesterday...
there were a lot of intriguing stories involved with this: how they survived in the car, james' decision to leave the car to search for help, his dad renting a helicopter to search the area...
check this out, it's unbelievable [map layout] -- i'm just looking at his path and i'm speechless... if he had chosen the other path, he woulda hit the black bar lodge and gotten help! instead, he went down another path and into the valley (page 3 really shows the distance between he and the car)
"pants found" and "clothing found" -- initially, it was thought that he was leaving markers for people to find him. now there's another thought that he was actually feeling extreme hypothermia and was removing his own clothing because he was actually feeling hot.
it would have made a great story of survival...
