so it's a shitty san diego sports year... padres, who HAD an awesome bullpen the year before, had an absolutely terrible season this year... now the chargers, with one of the best passing defenses, are playing like shit (editor's note: i had a really horrible comment about the padres/chargers playing like sarah palin's retarded son... but i decided not to keep it... or did i?)
will the chargers make the playoffs this year? i dunno... the broncos would REALLY need to choke for that to happen... cutler's a bitch
what's the deal here?... i am royally fucked in my two yahoo! fantasy sports leagues... but in espn fantasy... i'm rockin (probably because no one really cares about espn leagues and i'm totally taking advantage of that) -- n/m... i just answered my own question

yay... i mailed my absentee ballot today. i have a voice!
so i bought rockband 2 from circuit city over the weekend (don't get me started with deepdiscount) and then as i got home, i got a coupon in the mail from them for $20 off $150 -- awesome deal... i check online and the coupon works for the game. gameplan was to go to the store and have them credit me $20 back to my card
i couldn't stop thinking about that old commercial they had -- with the kid who walked across town to a CC, says to the guy, "last week i bought this, and today i saw this... just opened up the paper and there it was!"
and without flinching, the CC employee gives him some change and the kid says, "that's it? cool!"
well.. i actually had a competent employee help me and i got my $20 back -- i didn't have to grovel... didn't have to buy it online and then return it with my old receipt... i love when things work out
gotta love youtube for this shit
damn... the employees back then wore suits and look like... dammit.. i can't put a name to his face... he was a "big" star in the 80's... anyone remember?
