04.24.08 - the wheels are off

wtf, padres? there's no way the padres are this bad... the bats aren't hitting at the right times, the arms aren't getting outs... wtf?!!

it's so frustrating to watch the padres play right now -- i dunno what's going on, but the blowouts are ridiculous. i miss those days where we would lose 1 or 2 run games...

i really can't see this team winning a series or even getting a streak going... not with our shotty bullpen.

• "it's still early"
• "he's way overdue"
• "single will score the guy on third" (what happens? yep... out)
• "don't swing" or "take a pitch!"
• "we need more insurance runs"
• "F*CKING SH*T A$$ B*TCH -- close a f*ckin' game!"

at this point... without any of those "rules" -- send down rusch, huber, crabbe, morton (any of those) and call up the youngin's: headley (currently .234), antonelli (.228), venable (.356), hundley (.283)
